Transfer: Everyone has left – Jamie O’Hara warns Harry Kane against joining ‘farmers’ league

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Jamie O’Hara, has warned striker Harry Kane against leaving the Premier League for French Ligue 1, which he described as a ‘farmers’ league.

Kane has been linked with a move away from Tottenham this summer transfer window.

The England captain has been linked with French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Kane’s contract with Tottenham will expire in the summer of 2024 and Tottenham would rather sell him this summer than see him leave for free next summer.

Speaking about Kane potentially moving to PSG, O’Hara told Grosvenor Casino: “Why on earth would he go to PSG?

“He is not going to want to go and play in a farmers’ league. Everyone has left, Neymar wants out, Lionel Messi has left, Kylian Mbappe is pulling his hair out and wants to go to Real Madrid.”
