Manchester United have had a €35 million bid for striker Rasmus Hojlund rejected by Atalanta, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Hojlund is valued between €40-€45m by Atalanta.

Man United will have to battle Juventus, who are also interested in the Denmark attacker.

Meanwhile, in another development, Chelsea on Saturday confirmed that their defender Dujon Sterling has left Stamford Bridge on a permanent transfer to join Rangers.

In a statement via its website, Chelsea said: “Sterling completed a permanent move to Rangers. The defender had been at Chelsea since the age of eight and was handed his senior debut as a substitute in a League Cup tie against Nottingham Forest in September 2017.
