Transfer: Super Falcons defender, Ogbonna moves to Turkish club, Besiktas

Super Falcons defender, Glory Ogbonna has joined Besiktas for the remainder of the campaign.

The centre-back moved to Besiktas from Turkish league leaders ALG Spor.

The former Edo Queens player will wear jersey number No 20 at her new club.

Ogbonna will link up with another Nigerian Vivian Ikechukwu at the club.

“This is one move I never saw coming, when the offer came, I looked at their project and it was wonderful so I decided to key in,” she told the club’s official website.

“Besiktas is a good club, they have got ambition, I want to give my all to the club and help them secure the playoffs ticket.”

Ogbonna made 10 appearances for ALG Spor with one goal and two assists to her name.
