Tragedy stricken today, Saturday May 1, as truck rammed into Nkwommiri market in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State.
According to reports, 10 women were crushed to death and many injured after a truck lost failed brake and lost control.
The women who were trading along the road were crushed into a nearby river as some people at the market survived the accident.
Meanwhile, the community are working with government officials towards rescuing people who were trapped by the accident.
