Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso is looking forward to his side’s opening fixture against Dominican Republic at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The two-time finalists will take on the debutants at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, Mendoza on Sunday.

Victory in the game will set the tone for what is expected to come in the team’s remaining two group games against Italy and Brazil.

Bosso said they are looking forward to the game with confidence.

“Victory over Dominican Republic on Sunday will stabilise our winning mentality,” Bosso told thenff.com.

“It is a factor that matters in championships and that is why we are determined to win on Sunday.”
