U.S city declares July 7 Davido Day

The City of Houston in the United States of America, USA, has declared July 7th as Davido Day in honour of Nigerian superstar singer, Davido.

The Mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, made the proclamation in a statement that was made public on Friday in Houston, Texas.

“I, Sylvester Turner, Mayor of the city of Houston, do hereby proclaim July 7, 2023, as Davido Day.” He declared.

An elated Davido shared a snapshot of the statement via his Instastory.

This comes after Davido’s sold-out show at the iconic Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

In other news, popular Afrobeats singer, Davido has as finally spoken up to express his gratitude to his supporters in spite of several pregnancy accusations made against him .

He broke his silence to thank his fans for their unwavering support after several women pinned their pregnancies on him.

Davido claimed that he is content with everything going on around him.

He noted that fans are the reason why his record is performing well and he is really grateful for their support.
