Erling Haaland’s dad, Alf-Inge, has spoken for the first time after he and his son were escorted out of the Santiago Bernabeu following their 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

The father of Manchester City’s goal machine took to social media after a video of him being escorted from a box at the Bernabeu went viral.

Manchester City fought to get a draw in Spain with a late goal from Kevin de Bruyne pegging the Champions League semi-final first leg at 1-1.

The second leg will be played at the Etihad next Wednesday.

It was alleged that Haaland’s father ‘threw peanuts and hurled insults’ at Real Madrid fans below him.

Responding to one of the clubs, Haaland said: “Ok. RM was not happy we were celebrating the KDB goal. Other than that we had to move because RM fans were not happy with 1-1.”
