A 26-year-old man identified as Abraham D. Trueblood, was on Thursday arrested by The Mount Horeb Police Department over a possible possession of child pornography.
Police were notified in April 2020 of the suspected child pornography possession and executed a search warrant Thursday in the 500 block of East Main Street. Several electronic devices were taken as evidence for future analysis.
Abraham D. Trueblood was taken into custody and has been booked into jail on a charge of possession of child pornography.
This would not be the 1st time this sort of incident has happened in Mount Horeb. In 2013, a man pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography and posting it on a photo blog that he often accessed on a computer at his state job.
The man identified as Richard E. Desensi, 46, was at the time sentenced to three years in prison by Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi.
Desensi, who was an executive staff assistant at the state Department of Health Services before his resignation, was originally charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
Under a plea agreement, one of those counts was amended to possession of child pornography, while the other count was dismissed.
