American Grammy-winning rapper, 6lack has asked Nigerian Twitter user, Daniel Regha to ‘shut up’ after he criticised superstar singer, Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album last year.
In February 2021, Daniel Regha, who is a controversial social commentator, had said that the album is overrated and it was only getting hype because of politics and favouritism.
His comment was in response to the US artiste’s tweet that MIL was the best album during the pandemic.
6black tweeted; ”Also @wizkidayo dropped the best album during this pandemic, of any genre.”
In response, Regha wrote; ”No disrespect to Wizkid but his “Made in Lagos” music album is overrated, truth be told his album isn’t the best in 2020. A lot of Nigerian artistes including upcoming ones dropped dope albums but are barely applauded cos politics & favouritism runs in the music industry…????”
