The match official for the Nigeria National League matchday 8 tie between Vandrezzer FC and Warri Wolves has been summoned by the referee committee.
Vandrezzer petitioned the referee body for the display of referee Sunny Chibendu in their 1-0 defeat to Warri Wolves at the Eket Stadium, Uyo.
Chibendu was accused of ignoring an incident where a player of Warri Wolves blocked the ball with his hand within the penalty area.
The referee is expected to appear at the conference hall of the Nigeria Football Federation on Friday, May 19, 2023.
Also, match officials for the tie between Ijebu United versus Crown FC (Gabriel Otolorin), Jigawa Stars vs Katsina United (Abdullahi Shuaibu) and all the officials for Yobe Desert versus DMD are also expected to face the panel too.
