Nigeria international winger Samuel Kalu showed the reason why he is so highly rated with a brilliant solo goal to help his team salvage a point against Montpellier in Ligue 1.
The 24 year old has had lot of issues this season ranging from injuries to on field collapse and even a positive coronavirus test while on international duty with Nigeria during the last break for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
With just two goals to his name all through last season, he came into this season hoping to better on the tally and yesterday he scored a memorable goal which he hope will be the first of many to come this season.
With his team trailing 2-3 against Montpellier with five minutes remaining, he embarked on a solo run going past five markers in a fashion which will no doubt make Lionel Messi to be envious as he continue his push for his first Ligue 1 goal following his move to PSG.
The goal is the type of goal that made the Argentine famous while at Barcelona as he made it a habit of going past his markers effortlessly like Kalu did yesterday.
