Coach of the U20 team of Nigeria Ladan Bosso has drafted the list of players he will call up to camp for the start of preparations for the WAFU B tournament.
The tournament which will take place in Togo will hold from
the 14th to 29th November and it will serve as qualifiers for the 2020 Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
Bosso was only recently appointed as coach but the lockdown in Nigeria due to the coronavirus pandemic has made it impossible for his team to resume training as there is still a restriction on contact sports in Nigeria.
However the coach hasn’t stopped working as he has been compiling names of players who he will use for the tournament with Watford bound Ibrahim Sunusi top of the list.
Sunusi will join the English Championship side when he turns 18 in few months time but before then the former Nasarawa United hitman will train with the team ahead of the tournament.
As part of his preparations, Bosso also met with former Nigeria U17 coach Manu Garba to pick players who were dropped from his team for failing the MRI Test, and also speak on the boys from the 2019 team who are going to be available for selection.
