We’ll fight for title next season – Akwa United coach Osho

Akwa United head coach Fatai Osho has revealed that the team is undergoing transformation ahead of the 2023–24 Nigeria Premier League season.

Osho led the Promise Keepers to the semi-final of the Naija Super 8 pre-season tournament in Lagos.

The former Rivers United assistant coach assured that he would produce a team that would fight for laurels next season.

He also expressed satisfaction with the performance of the club’s new recruits.

“We are just barely weeks old in the Akwa United family,” he told thedabigal.

He said further: “We are undergoing a big transformation; as you can see on the pitch, we keep working hard. I’m sure we are going to be ready from the start of the season and also produce a good team that will fight for titles. The new players are also adjusting to the new system.”
