Why Super Eagles players panic – Ahmed Musa

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has insisted that Jose Peseiro’s side panic on the pitch of play because they cannot take too much pressure.

Musa said this while urging the media to take it easy with Super Eagles stars.

The former Leicester City star spoke in Lagos on Friday during a ceremony to unveil the team’s ‘Let’s Do It Again’ mantra in their bid to win a fourth Africa Cup of Nations trophy in Ivory Coast next year.

This is coming after Nigeria’s disappointing World Cup qualifier 1-1 draw with Lesotho on Thursday.

“So, please I am begging the media to please take it easy with these young boys, they can’t take too much pressure.

“That is why whenever they go onto the pitch to play they panic because they are thinking about what they are going to see on their accounts on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook,” Musa said.

Nigeria will face Zimbabwe on Sunday afternoon in a World Cup qualifier.
