A man with a wide neck who was twice detained in 2018 and whose mugshot went viral has been arrested again.
The man identified as Charles “Wide Neck” McDowell was busted over the weekend.
The 35-year-old Instagram celebrity who has over a million followers was arrested for stalking and failing to pay child support and put into the Escambia County Jail.
According to KCBY, a warrant was issued for his arrest in August after he visited a woman’s home and sent her threatening texts.
McDowell gained notoriety following a subsequent arrest on a number of counts, including eluding police and narcotics offenses.
His circumstances changed for the better when his mugshot became viral. He became a member of a rap ensemble with other online semi-celebrities and collaborated on a video with “Daddy Long Neck,” a lean man with an exceptionally long neck.
According to police records, McDowell is currently being held without bond.
