The wife of the Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Ola has triggered divorce rumors across social media after she made a post on Instagram on Monday.
According to Queen Ola in a post she shared on the photo-sharing app, there is no big deal in one breaking up and seeking for divorce from a union where one is not appreciated.
“Divorce is ok. Breaking up is ok. Starting over is ok. Moving on is Ok. Saying no is ok. Being alone is ok,” the post read in part.
In a different portion of the message, the royal family member highlighted the things that are not acceptable for those who find themselves in relationships.
According to Queen Ola, it is not acceptable for people to always remain in relationships where they are not happy, valued and appreciated.
“What is not ok is staying somewhere where you aren’t happy, valued or appreciated, that’s not ok,” the post read.
Recall that Ola also known as Badirat was noticeably missing in the Eid celebration family portrait of the king and his wives. This is coming after it was rumored that she was sent out of the palace for allegedly sleeping with Nigerian music icon, King Ayinde Wasiu Marshal popularly known as KWAM 1.
Since then, there have been speculations that the mother of two has moved out of the palace and most likey left the married.
