Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid has seemingly reacted to the criticisms he received over his planned tour with his colleague, Davido.
Recall that the ‘Made in Lagos’ hitmaker recently announced that he will be going on tour with the DMW boss, to the surprise of many.
In a post he shared on Wednesday, January 18, Wizkid said after his More Love, Less Ego tour scheduled to kick off in March 2023, he and Davido will be going on tour.
The announcement was however met with mixed reactions from netizens due to his long-standing beef with Davido.
Reacting to the news, Twitter commentator, Daniel Regha, had said the tour makes no sense because Wizkid had never acknowledged Davido in public and always turned a blind eye whenever his fanbase attacked him. Read here
Popular comedian, Mr Jollof, who also reacted to the news, accused Wizkid of trying to take advantage of Davido’s star power because his fame is slowly dimming.
In a seeming reaction to the backlash, Wizkid shared a post on his Instastory telling his critics to make sure they and their family have eaten well before coming online to troll him, presumably.
“2023 Abeg make sure u and ur family don chop! Good morning kids”, he captioned a photo with two of his sons.
