Prof. Wole Soyinka has refused to endorse presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore himself revealed this on Instagram yesterday.
This is coming days after Soyinka had asked Nigerians not to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari or Atiku Abubakar.
His words, “Prof. Wole Soyinka has expressed to me in private his decision to back a different candidate.
“We should therefore not be surprised should he choose to announce this.
“While I might disagree with his decision, I have great respect for the Nobel Laureate and urge ‘TakeItBackers’ to accord him the utmost respect at all times.”
Soyinka is set to announce the candidate of his choice this week.
