Youth stage protest in Osogbo accuse EFCC officials of extortion (video)

There is currently tension in Osogbo, the Osun state capital as youths staged a protest over alleged extortion by members of the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

On Monday night, EFCC operatives was accused of raiding Adetunji Estate and Hallelujah Estate in Osogbo to arrest suspected internet fraudsters.

Youths prevented more than 20 vehicles belonging to suspected Internet fraudsters from been taking away by EFCC.

Early this morning, the angry youths stormed Lameco Junction and Dele Yes Sir Junction to make bonfires and mount roadblocks as they protest over the alleged extortion by the agency.
