Zamfara NSCDC commiserates with Kotorkoshi emirate over Emir’s death

The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has commiserated with the Kotorkoshi emirate council over the demise of its Emir, Alhaji Ahmed Umar.

The Corps thanked God for the life and times of the monarch and enjoined the council to bear it as the will of God.

The Corps, led by its commandant, Mr. A A Sparks however sympathized with the council over the demise of the monarch and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Recall that the monarch died at the age of 96 on Thursday evening in his palace after a protracted illness after 61 years on the throne.

thedabigal reports that since the monarch died, there have been condolences from all quarters including the state Governor, Bello Matawalle; the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC); and the state House of Assembly.
