Tottenham Hotspur have held exploratory talks to sign Romelu Lukaku Chelsea, according to Mail Sport.
Lukaku’s future remains uncertain as he has been frozen out by new Blues boss, Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino did not include the 30-year-old in his preseason preparations as the Premier League side looks to offload him.
Lukaku spent last season on loan at Inter Milan after arriving at Chelsea for a club-record £97.5million fee just two years ago.
The Belgian was expected to make his move to Inter permanent but preferred a move to rivals Juventus.
However, Lukaku may still ply his trade in the Premier League this season, with Spurs keen.
The North London side have lost Harry Kane to Bayern Munich and are looking to bolster their attack with a new striker.
