Nigeria international midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will likely be the next player from the English Premier League to move to the gulf region after receiving a lucrative offer from five times champions of Saudi Arabia Al-Shabab.
The Leicester City midfielder has already received an offer said to be ten times his present wage at the relegated English Premier League side. The club are also open to letting him leave with one year left on his deal.
Al-Shabab are reportedly willing to pay Leicester City a transfer fee of around £35m. Am amount the club is willing to consider as they seek to raise cash for their campaign in the English Championship.
Their aim is to cut down cost by letting go some of their heavy earners which includes Ndidi and cash from realized from their sale, and also money saved from their wages will be invested in the team as they eye an instant return to the English Premier League.
Ndidi and his representatives are set to be studying the offer and will make a decision within the week. Talks between all parties involved is progressing nicely giving a feeling that the deal could be done swiftly.
