Katsina United manager Usman Abdallah has revealed that his desire for a new challenge lured him to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
“I got plenty of offers before joining Katsina United,” he stated in a chat with the media.
“Having earlier been at three NPFL sides, I preferred coaching in the NNL because it comes with an entirely new experience for me. It’s a tougher league, but it’s worth the sacrifice.”
Abdallah will lead his team, Katsina United, in the battle to secure a ticket to play in the NPL next season when the NNL promotion playoffs begin next month.
