As many as five players of the senior national team of Nigeria will join teams in Saudi Arabia before the end of the current transfer window, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Saudi Arabia has emerged as the destination for lot of players in this summer transfer window following the decision of the government of the country to inject funds into the league and specific teams.
The move has attracted top players from all over the world with football icon Cristiano Ronaldo heading the list that now has established stars like N’golo Kante, Karim Benzema, Hakim Ziyech, Kalidou Koulibaly among others.
Speaking on the possibilities of players of the senior national team of Nigeria making the move, a football agent who is well known around the gulf region for making such transfers happen said there is every possiblity that five of them will be in the league before the end of this window.
” At least five that is what I know. For now two of them are in talks with teams in that country namely Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo. I know of three others but I can’t speak about the deals because talks are still at a very early stage”, he told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
