French Ligue 1 side Nantes are facing a daunting task in their quest to hold on to their Nigerian winger Moses Simon per his representatives.
Simon’s future has dominated discussions in France after his latest goal in the comeback win against Bordeaux took his goal contributions for the season to 12 goals contribution ( four goals, eight assists).
Links with a move to Newcastle United appeared two months ago but it has since gone calm on that front although there are suggestions that all has been agreed between both teams.
Sources close to Simon say he is very settled in France and will prefer staying but moving to a team that will challenge for top honours and also play in European competition.
Reacting to the news, a staff of his agency said they have gotten enquiries from as many as ten teams since the start of the year and talks have been scheduled with Nantes at the end of the season.
