Aisha Buhari deactivates Twitter account

The official Twitter handle of Nigeria’s First lady, Aisha Buhari, has been deactivated. This happened hours after the President Buhari’s administration announced the suspension of the social media giant.

Yesterday, Aisha in solitary with her husband’s decision to ban Twitter, announced she will be deactivating her Twitter account.

A search on Twitter for her handle shows it has been deactivated. See a screenshot below

Meanwhile, President Buhari’s Twitter account is yet to be deactivated by the administration.
