Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak is undergoing a medical at Newcastle United.
Isak is currently at the club’s Benton base and looking to complete his big money move from Real Sociedad.

The striker will undergo the usual medial and formalities before being unveiled as the Magpies’ record signing after a fee of around £58million was agreed between Newcastle and the La Liga club. Isak is set to sign a long-term deal and should be available for the trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Isak played as recently as Sunday for Real as they were beaten 4-1 by Barcelona with the former Borussia Dortmund striker scoring the opening goal.
Isak arrived via a private jet after sporting director Dan Ashworth and head of recruitment Steve Nickson flew over to Spain to get their man, reports Chronicle Live. Nickson has scouted the striker on numerous occasions dating back to his days in Holland at Willem II.
