Arsenal outcast, Mesut Ozil, is willing to accept a massive cut on his current wages to join Fenerbahce.
Sozcu reported that Fener president, Ali Koc, sports director Emre Belözoglu and television personality Acun Ilicali were recently in London for talks with Ozil about a move to Turkey.

While Ozil ruled out joining Fener next month, the meeting broke up with a commitment from the German to make the move in June when he becomes a free agent. Indeed, personal terms were verbally agreed upon during the summit.
Özil asked for an annual salary of €5m. On top of that, there must be a signing bonus, which must be spread over several years. It will mean that Özil’s salary comes to €8m-a-year, which he is willing to settle on from his current €13m salary.
“Then we will see each other again in June,” Koç is said to have responded. The intention is for both parties to meet again in June.
