Arsenal are ready to sell Alexandre Lacazette for £15 million this summer in order to fund a deal for Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham.

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, is keen on bringing Abraham to Emirates if a deal for the 23-year-old can be struck.

According to The Sun, Arsenal are now willing to accept a £15million fee in a bid to get Lacazette off their wage bill.

Lacazette, who joined Arsenal from Lyon in a £46.5m deal in 2017, has just a year remaining on his contract with the North London club.

Arsenal have decided not to extend the 30-year-old’s current £175,000-a-week deal and are now looking for a buyer before the end of the transfer window.

The report added that Arteta is happy to keep Lacazette if no buyer is found, but it would mean that Arsenal are likely to miss out on Abraham.

Arsenal will now have to battle West Ham United and Aston Villa for Abraham’s signature.

Meanwhile, Chelsea would also accept a loan agreement with Arsenal for Abraham but on the condition that a £40m obligation-to-buy clause is included as part of the deal for the England international.
