Youtuber-turned-boxer, Jake Paul has offered Will Smith and Chris Rock $15m to fight following their controversy at the just-concluded Oscars award.
Recall that Will Smith walked up the stage to smack Chris on the face for making a joke about his wife, Jada Smith, while he was presenting an award at the show. He also warned him to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth. Watch here
The scandal has stirred a major controversy, garnering reactions from both the audience at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and social media users.
Reacting, Jake Paul who has never been beaten in five professional fights, took to Twitter to react to the controversy. He wrote, “Nah this is crazy ahah”.
He then offered Smith and Rock $15m to each box on the undercard of his fight in August.
“I got $15m for Will Smith and $15m for Chris Rock ready to go
Let’s do it in August on my undercard.”
The 25-year-old added: “Someone get me on the phone with Will Smiths boxing representative asap”.
