Manchester City playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne, is back in contention for the Champions League final, after returning to training.

The midfielder missed City’s last two games with a muscle injury.

However, De Bruyne is set be included in the squad for Tuesday’s trip to Brighton.

“Kevin has trained the last two days and he feels good.

“Kevin is important like everyone. When we are able to stick together and push each other, it will be possible to win [the Champions League].

“Everyone is in the same level. We’ll see what his level is, he’s fit and ready to play,” manager Pep Guardiola said in his news conference today.

City take on Chelsea in the Champions League final on May 29.
