Chelsea have set a deadline to appoint their new manager after they sacked Graham Potter on Sunday night.

Chelsea had on Sunday night sacked Potter and temporarily put Bruno Saltor in charge of the first team.

A number of names, including Julian Nagelsmann, Roberto De Zerbi, Luciano Spalletti, Zinedine Zidane, Mauricio Pochettino and Luis Enrique, have been linked with the Chelsea job.

But according to The Times, Chelsea have now set a deadline to bring in Potter’s successor and want a new manager in place before April 12.

That is when the Blues will face Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Santiago Bernabeu.
