Crystal Palace were rewarded for their 4-0 romp past Everton with an FA Cup semi-final tie against Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel’s Blues have reached the final of the competition in four of the past five seasons, although have only lifted the cup once in that period.

Saturday’s trip to giant-killing Middlesbrough was smoothly dealt with by Chelsea, thanks to first-half goals from Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech.

Palace, meanwhile, dispatched Everton courtesy of goals from Marc Guehi, Jean-Philippe Mateta, an unusual Wilfried Zaha rebound and a late Will Hughes sealer.

In the other tie, Manchester City were handed the winner of Sunday’s quarter-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. The Reds prevailed 1-0 after a late Diogo Jota goal.
