Christmas: Gov. Buni charges Christian faithful to continue praying for full return of peace in Yobe, Nigeria

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has charged Christian faithful in the state to continue praying for the full return of peace to the state and the country in general.

The governor gave the charge on Sunday in a statement issued by his Spokesman Mamman Mohammed when he received
Yobe State leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), on a courtesy visit.

Buni assured the faithful in the state of equal treatment at all times.

The association commended Governor Buni for the goodwill extended to the Christian faithful during the Christmas season, while appreciating Yobe state government for its all inclusive policy of giving sense of belonging to everyone in the state.

The statement, further, recalled that Yobe state government has supported members of the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), with food items, cows and cash to celebrate the Christmas.
