Manchester United forward and Portuguese national, Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez have announced the death of their baby son Monday.
Ronaldo had earlier announced in October that he and Rodriguez were expecting twins. However, in his announcement, he shared that they tragically lost their baby boy.
He also stated that only the birth of their baby girl is giving “them the strength to live this moment“.
The announcement reads,
It is With deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy. It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby gives Us the strength to live this moment With some hope and happiness We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all the care and support provided. We are devastated and ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our boy you’re our angel. We will love you forever XX

Ronaldo has five other children—11-year-old Cristiano Jr., four-year-old twins Eva and Mateo, four-year-old Alana Martina and his newborn baby girl.
