Defender Of Newly Promoted EPL Side Eyes Debut With Super Eagles In September

The report by Sky Sports few days ago has it that Gabriel Osho of newly promoted English Premier League side Luton Town FC is on the radar of the senior national team of Nigeria.

Head coach of the Nigerian team Jose Peseiro is said to have met with the player’s camp to hold talks over his possible inclusion in the list of players for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.

24 year old Osho is eligible for both England and Nigeria but he is yet to be capped at any level by both countries. Nigeria are now pushing to get the defender who is comfortable as a left full back or centre back to join them ahead of next year Africa Cup of Nations.

In an exclusive chat with OwnGoalNigeria.com, his representative said it will be a dream come true if he gets to paly for Nigeria in September, saying it will complete what has been a remarkable year for the former Reading trainee.

” That will be like the icing on a fantastic year. Remember he was without a club three years ago. He made 30 appearances last season and will be in the English Premier League, with a taste of international football in September on the cards. That’s a year to remember”, a representative of his agency Stonemountain management told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
