Dr. Dre’s wife, Nicole Young, is reportedly demanding $2 million(N763m) per month as temporary spousal support amid ongoing divorce proceedings.
According to TMZ, Nicole wants $1,936,399 monthly in temporary spousal support and an additional $5 million (N1.9b)to cover for her legal fees on the ongoing divorce battle.
In June , Nicole filed a divorce suit requesting divorce from the music mogul, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for her decision.
Online reports says Dr.Dre is likely to challenge his estranged wife’s demand in court based on their current living arrangement which is below the amount she is requesting.
The music mogul argued that the division of their assets should be determined by the prenuptial agreement they had and not by her exorbitant amount.
In her defense , Nicole says she wouldn’t want to depend on the media personality to foot all her bills when they eventually part ways, hence her exorbitant demand. The $2m covets her laundry fees, telephone bills, clothes, education, mortgage, entertainment , charity and contribution.
