EFCC arrests brothers, 6 others in Osogbo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested eight suspected internet fraudsters in Osogbo, Osun State.

EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwajuren made this known in a statement on Thursday in Ibadan.

Among the suspects were two brothers. They were nabbed during an early morning raid on their hideout at Ayegbami.

The commission kept surveillance for days after receiving intelligence about their alleged use of the internet for criminal acts.

Items recovered included two cars, laptops and phones.

The statement added that they would be charged after investigation.
