Cross River State End SARS Panel has said 39 petitions were received by the panel before its inaugural sitting in Calabar, Cross River State.
Chairman of the Panel, Justice Michael Edem (rtd) said that the panel would not allow anyone to use it to settle discord against the police or the police against the citizen, “The Panel is not to victimize anybody,” he stated.
At the sitting of the panel today at the Ministry of Justice Conference Hall, New Secretariat, Calabar, the Chairman adjourned sitting to Friday, November 13th, 2020 to enable parties address identified lapses.
