Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has said he will find the “best solution” to compete against Aston Villa without Rodri and Jack Grealish.
Both Rodri and Grealish picked up their fifth booking of the season in the 3-3 draw with Tottenham on Sunday.
This automatically triggers a one-match suspension for both midfielders.
Rodri will be a big miss in midfield, as City has lost all three games when he was was suspended earlier in the season.
“We won’t deny how important he is but if he is not there because he is suspended like Jack we will find the best solution to compete against Aston Villa,” Guardiola said.
