Manchester United have confirmed that Amad Diallo is out of action for an undefined period.
The Red Devils announced on their website that Diallo will miss the start of the new Premier League season.
The Ivory Coast winger had been hoping to showcase his first team credentials during preseason.

An injury during a 2-0 win over Arsenal has curtailed those ambitions, with Diallo likely out for a few weeks at the least.
A club statement read: “Manchester United winger Amad will miss the first part of the Premier League season.
“The 21-year-old sustained a knee injury during the tour of the United States that is going to keep him out of action. It is a blow to the youngster’s hopes of making his mark, after being involved in the earlier stages of our pre-season campaign.”
“Unfortunately, he has also been ruled out of the first part of the 2023/24 campaign, and we await further details on his estimated recovery date, with the home league clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers up first for Erik ten Hag’s Reds on Monday 14 August.”
