Tottenham Hotspur have sacked their manager, Nuno Espírito Santo.

Tottenham disclosed this in a statement on Monday morning via their website.

This is coming less than two days after their Premier League 3-0 defeat to Manchester United.

Tottenham lost to Man United at home on Saturday following goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford.

“The club can today announce that Nuno Espírito Santo and his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias have been relieved of their duties.

“A further coaching update will follow in due course,” Tottenham’s statement read.

Tottenham’s next game is against Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
