Former Arsenal and Barcelona striker, Thierry Henry, has named a country that can win the Euro 2020 trophy.
According to Henry, Portugal are the favourites to win the Euro 2020, just ahead of Spain and England.
Recall that Henry recently rejoins Belgium’s coaching staff ahead of Euro 2020.
“You have Portugal, they are European champions, you have to consider them, Spain are coming back with a young team and then England,” Henry was quoted by Mirror UK as saying.
“You guys have a good team, I always thought in the past, in the teams of Rio Ferdinand, and the teams were good and I thought they could have won it.
“They had the team but something was missing and that team has a chance. It’s the quality. You don’t have a lot of people with experience in big tournaments but it didn’t really matter in Russia.
“Some players will be in the tournament without experience, but sometimes when you are young, you have that don’t care attitude. But to win a big tournament, you need a top goalkeeper. Don’t ever forget that.”
The Euro 2020 will kick-off in June 11 – 11 July, 2021.
