Everton boss Rafa Benitez has a secret agenda to invest in next month’s transfer market to boost his team as he insisted that Jonjoe Kenny is still in his plans.
Benitez has praised the Kirkdale-born defender but he could move in January, allowing Benitez to bring in someone new.
“When people were talking about different positions they were talking about wide wingers and right back,” Benitez said.

“At the moment we have a couple of wingers and we have players in the right-back position.
“Seamus is a great player playing a lot of games this year.
“Normally he has had some issues which is why we looked at options. Jonjoe Kenny is training really well and is an amazing professional. So we know where we are and are looking for the present and future. If we can find solutions we will try.”
