As activities in the transfer window continue to gather pace, a lot of movement is expected in the coming days especially from players who are keen on moving to clubs where their career will receive a positive boost.
Nosa Obarentin falls in the category as he has decided to further his career by ditching the B team of reigning Italian Serie A champions AC Milan for Napoli as first reported by a Twitter handle with the name @Giovanilinapoli.
The report was circulated by another Twitter handle in @Napoli_reports and the 19 year old center back, who can also play as a left back confirmed his departure from Milan with a post on his Instagram story posing in the shirt of Napoli. He has been with AC Milan since 2018.
He rose from the youth ranks of AC Milan stepping up from the U14 to the U19 after joining them from AC Cesena youth team. He now fancies the next step of his career at Napoli, where he will start with the Primavera team with his sights fixed on breaking into the main team.
Napoli currently have another Nigerian in Victor Osimhen on their books. Obarentin who is a left footed central defender is seen as a future prospect who could be the long term replacement of departed Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly who is now at Chelsea. They are both left footed.
