Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Jose Peseiro will likely make another change to the squad of the senior national team of Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The team is already going through the first phase of their camping exercise in Abu Dhabi with as many as 23 players in the camp following the arrival of Victor Osimhen this morning.

Vice captain William Troost-Ekong is yet to hit the camp of the team as at the time of this report, he will likely be with the team later tonight after playing for his Greek side last night. His arrival will bring the number of players to 24 with only one player yet to arrive.

As we first reported Alhassan Yusuf has taken the spot of Wilfred Ndidi who is out injured and Kelechi Iheanacho who is yet to be in the camp of the team will likely be replaced by Terem Moffi in two days time.

Iheanacho will undergo further test on the muscle injury that has stopped him from joining up with the team, he is due to have the test by tomorrow after which a final decision will be made on his replacement.

Peseiro has Moffi high on his list but won’t hesitate to call up Cyriel Dessers if the Nice forward who was snubbed in the 25 man list to the surprise of many turns down the chance.
