Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has made just once change to the team that defeated Liberia 2-0 on Saturday in the lineup for today’s game against Cape Verde.

Rohr kept the same back there in Chidozie Awaziem, Leon Balogun and William Ekong with Maduka Okoye in goal as expected. The same midfield three of Joe Aribo, Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi was also maintained by the coach, OwnGoalNigeria.com exclusively gathered.

The wing backs still remain Moses Simon on the right and Jamilu Collins on the left but in attack is where the coach made just a change. Kelechi Iheanacho’s spot has been handed to Odion Ighalo.

Ighalo will play as the number 9, while Victor Osimhen operate in a role just behind him as Nigeria go for a win in the game where a draw will be good enough to see them qualify for the next round.
