The starting lineup of the senior national team of Nigeria for today’s friendly game against Cameroon has been made known to Owngoalnigeria.com.

We exclusively gathered that coach of the Nigerian team Gernot Rohr made just two changes to the team that started against Cameroon on Friday with the duo of William Ekong and Oghenekaro Etebo missing out.

While Ekong was dropped from the team due to the injury he picked up in the 0-1 loss on four days ago, Etebo was dropped from the lineup base on tactical reason with Alex Iwobi who started on the right last time out reverting back to midfield.

In goal Rohr also backtracked on his words that Francis Uzoho will start as he exclusively gathered that Maduka Okoye will keep his spot in goal. Valentine Ozornwafor is the only new name in the defence from Friday’s game.

Jamilu Collins who was earlier feared out of the game will start the game after shrugging off the knock he picked up on Friday. Ahmed Musa comes into the team as part of a three man attack.

Musa will operate from the right with Moses Simon retaining his spot on the left. Paul Onuachu will once again lead the line as main striker. Kelechi Iheanacho keeps his spot in the starting lineup same as Wilfred Ndidi.

Lineup:

Maduka Okoye
Shehu Abdullahi
Jamilu Collins
Valentine Ozornwafor
Chidozie Awaziem
Wilfred Ndidi
Alex Iwobi
Kelechi Iheanacho
Paul Onuachu
Moses Simon
Ahmed Musa
