Ezenwa Dropped As Super Eagles Depart Nigeria For USA Ahead Of Mexico Friendly Match

The captain of the B team of the senior national team of Nigeria Ikechukwu Ezenwa has been axed from the squad of the team that will play against Mexico on the 3rd of July.

Ezenwa turned up injured in the camp of the team and in the process of trying to shake off what looked like an ankle injury he ended up aggravating it.

He hasn’t trained just like the other goalkeeper John Noble who also arrived camp unfit but Noble is schedule to travel as he is expected to be fit before the game.

The team will depart Nigeria tonight for the United States of America (USA) with 20 players made up of two goalkeepers in Stanley Nwabali and John Noble. The team will be handled by the NFF technical department duo of Austin Eguavoen and Paul Aigbogun.
