Danish side FC Midtjylland have accepted a transfer fee in the region of €10 million for the sale of their Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The bid was from a team in the German Bundesliga with sources close to the player citing the unnamed team as one that finished in mid table in the recently concluded German Bundesliga.

We gathered the deal will be made official in two weeks time with the 22 year old expected to agree terms on a four year deal with the option of another if all goes according to plan.

He was a member of the last Nigeria U23 team of coach Imama Amapakabo but he didn’t attend the U23 Cup of Nations as his club turned down an invitation from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for him to be a part of the team.

Onyeka has been at Midtjylland since 2016 when he joined their U19 team from Nigerian side FC Ebedei. This season he has impressed with his all round performance just like he did last season as well.
